Mass Production Service Project

During the spring 2014 quarter, I was involved in manufacturing and donating infant apparel products to the Pomona Valley Hospital through my current Apparel Production class, in which I will at certain points manage a team of 3 through the technical package development, pattern making, production planning and layout in order to produce a total of 12 baby sleep sacks.

Six Month Dollar Plan and Assortment Plan

For a retail buying class, in groups of two people we had to complete a mock six month dollar plan and assortment plan for the accessory department for Planet Blue. In which based on sales figures of the previous season, we had to plan out expected dollar goals a buyer can spend for the upcoming season and well as possible strategies to increase sales. Once the dollar plan was finalized, my group had to create an assortment plan to classify what to purchase for the accessory department and the percentage distribution for each of the assortments to be purchased.

Visual Merchandising Window Display Project

During the Fall 2015 quarter, I was involved in creating and window display for Working Wardrobes Thrift Store in Anaheim, CA for the holiday season. The creative concept captured the idea of a holiday party, in which I started by drafting a mock window display in adobe illustrator, built any additional decorative features, as well as styling both female and male mannequins in formal attire to match the creative concept.

In addition, I was also involved with post production processes, this included all the screen-printing processes in which I had to deliver test fabric swatches to the screen-printer and make sure the quality is acceptable, as well as quality control, in which I implemented the quality control standards that were created for the product line.
